Hi! I’m Pepe, passionate about languages, linguistics, translation, and music. One of my new challenges is learning a Slavic language, such as Serbian. I love literatura, especially fantasy and historical novels, though I have to admit that reality sometimes surpasses fiction. I also play the clarinet and the saxophone.
My hometown is Alicante, near Valencia, famous for the Fallas. I’ve been living in Vienna for a few years now, a city I really love. Yes, I traded my beaches and palm trees for the Austrian winter. Even though it’s cold, it’s enjoyable in a different way, with Christmas markets and mulled wine.
Teaching is my other great passion because, for me, it’s the best way to keep learning and growing. What I enjoy most is seeing my students outgrow themselves, gain confidence, and discover the world from a new perspective. For me, languages are another way to look at the world around us.
